Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”) carefully. By downloading, installing, or using the Is This a Scam? application (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Description of Service

Is This a Scam? is a tool designed to assist users in identifying potential scam messages by analyzing text patterns. It provides risk assessments and educational information to help raise your awareness.

Important Disclaimer: The App’s analysis is based on algorithms and known patterns and is for informational purposes only. It is not professional security, legal, or financial advice. The App does not guarantee 100% accuracy and may produce false positives or negatives. You are solely responsible for your decisions and actions. Always verify critical matters through official channels.

2. Acceptable Use

You agree to:

• Use the App for lawful purposes and comply with all applicable local laws.
• Not reverse-engineer, hack, or disrupt the normal functioning of the App.
• Understand that the service is provided “as is.”

3. Intellectual Property

The App and all related content, including text, graphics, logos, and code, are protected by intellectual property laws and are owned by the developer. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part without explicit permission.

4. Subscriptions & Auto-Renewal

• The App offers a “Pro” subscription purchased through the Apple App Store.
• Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each period (monthly/yearly) unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
• Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime via your device’s iTunes or App Store settings.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the App. This includes, but is not limited to, data loss or business interruption. Our total cumulative liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App service in the past six months (if any).

6. Modifications & Termination

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the App (or any part) at any time without notice. We are not liable for any loss resulting from such actions.

7. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of your country of residence, excluding its conflict of law rules.
